Welcome to the Lake Minnetonka-Excelsior Rotary Web Site!

We are a group of 50 Minnesotans who actively participate in a variety of service projects in our local community as well as international locations. We have sent medical equiptment to India, helped build homes and a library in Chimbote, Peru, supplied computers to a technical school in Grand Bourg, Argentina, and participated in Rotary International's campaign to eradicate polio world-wide.

Locally, we have sponsored international students to come to Minnetonka and study at Minnetonka High School, in addition to sending students from our community abroard to fifteen different coiuntries through the Rotary Youth Exchange Program. Significant grants are given yearly to such causes as the ICA foodshelve, SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education), the West Suburban Teen Clinic, and to outstanding teachers in our schools.

Working together we have formed lasting friendships with each other and the people we help. We welcome new members and invite anyone interested in learning more about our club to attend one of our meetings. We meet at Maynard's, 685 Excelsior Blvd., Excelsior, every Wednesday at 7am for breakfast. Or contact us through this web site.

Yours in Rotary,
