Our club has several fund-raising activities each year. We start off our Rotary year in August with our largest fundraiser, a golf tournament which is a joint event with the Excelsior Rotary Club (the 'Noon' club). This year the event will be held at the Burl Oaks Golf Club. We raise about $50,000 for donation to designated charities and to other local charities. The event includes a raffle and live auction and includes lunch and dinner.  Please call Bill Carlson at 952-475-0586 for information on being a sponsor, donating items for the raffle/auction, or to play golf.

In March, we have a Rose Sale. All members take pre-orders on dozens of roses. We sell about 750 dozen and raise about $4,000.

In addition to these fund-raisers we take on many local projects each year.  Some of these include serving meals at the Ronald McDonald House, ringing bells for The Salvation Army, and cleaning a section of a local trail system each spring.

In May, our international committe dedicated $1,000.00 to purchase a shelter box to be used for relief purposes in either Myanmar or China in light of recent tragedies. To find out more about the shelter box program, visit www.shelterbox.org/news_index.htm

We have also recently donated about $4000 to a hospital in Argentina for respriators.  These funds were matched by our Rotary District and then by The Rotary International Foundation.
